Day-Wise Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL SRINAGAR – CITY TOUR – LOCAL SIGHTSEEINGS (MUGHAL GARDENS)

On Arrival Srinagar The chauffeur will meet and greet you at the Airport with your Name placard. Will transfer to your hotel and after freshening up you can leave for the beautiful Srinagar city tour.

Places Covered : Dal-Lake, Hazratbal, Nigeen Lake, Shalimar Garden , Nishat Bagh , Botanical garden , Chashma-Shahi, Pari-mahal, Shankaracharya Temple. Later transfer to hotel.

DAY 02: SRINAGAR TO SONMARG – EXCURSION

Prepare yourself for a trip to Sonmarg after a sumptuous breakfast. Check out from Srinagar hotel. Adjust your posture and hire a horse or pony to ride you to the Thajiwas Glacier, which is covered in snow year-round. Do not skip taking memorable photos of the breathtaking scenery. Sonamarg’s weather is usually lovely, whether it’s summer or winter. Later in evening we move back to Srinagar and spend the night at Srinagar Hotel.

Places to see on own: Baltal Valley, Thajwas glacier, Zero point, Nilagrad River.

DAY 04: SRINAGAR TO GULMARG

Wakeup fresh and have breakfast and we are ready to start our day and fill your soul with adventure of Gulmarg. A majestic hill station , a table top hill of 4sq KMs encircled by lofty Himlayan peaks. Enroute we see the apple orchards and will be accompanied by small stream of river. After doing activities you will walk to your hotel arranged in Gulmarg for night stay or you can have a pony ride till your hotel.

Places to Visit on Own: Gandola Phase 01, Phase 02- Golf course, Mata ka Mandir, Heritage Church , Khilanmarg ,Afarwat peak, Drung waterfall , Mountain Lake.

DAY 06: PAHALGAM TO SRINAGAR

Good morning! Today we continue to explore the rest of Pahalgam and the activities which were left incomplete due to long exhausting journey and short day time yesterday. While coming back you can shop for Cricket Bat direct from factories, Saffron from gardeners and dry fruits from small family run made shops. In the evening you are transferred to the experience of Houseboat in the calm of lake.

DAY 05: GULMARG TO PAHALGAM

The splendid view of Sun Rise in Gulmarg will leave you in awe. After checking out from your hotel we leave for pahlagam . Keep your eyes open for the beauty of Pahalgam. Known as the “valley of shepherds”. We drive pass by pampore saffron fields,apple orchards and J&K state highway. The lidder river flows along with our route and literally accompanies us till you reach. Later in the evening transfer to your hotel you can admire the serenity and calmness of the woods. By the end of day you will be taken to hotel in Pahlagam for rest.

DAY 03: SRINAGAR TO DOODHPATHRI – EXCURSION

The name “doodpathri” means Valley of Milk. It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows,to offer prayers, he pricked the ground with his stick to search for water and milk came out. He asked the milk that you can only be used for drinking and not performing ablution.Hearing this milk at once changed its state to water and the meadow got its name Doodpathri.The water which is at present flowing through the meadows has a milky appearance from the distance and remains very cold throughout the year. The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver shining streams running over the large stones further increase its beauty. Doodhpathri is sloping grassy landscapes with a diversity of multicolored flowers up to Chang. The famous Tosamaidanlies in the west of Doodpathri. Doodhpathri lies in a bowl shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, at an altitude of 2,730 m (8,957 ft) above sea level. It is an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. The natural meadows, which are covered with snow in winter, allow the growth of wild flowers such as daisies, Return back Srinagar overnight Stay Srinagar.

NOTE:

01:- In Gulmarg the main attraction is cable car ride which consists of 2 phases. 1st phase is from base ground of Gulmarg to Kungdoor (mountain peak) and the charges are 810 per person. Phase 2nd is from Kongdori to Aphrawat peak and charges are 1010 per head. and in winters if there will be any snow fall or frozen snow than you need to hire chain jeep that you have to book on spot our representative will help you and the charges will be 1500 - 2000 per cab to and fro.

02:- In Pahalgam there are few Vallies like Aru Valley, Baitaab Valley and Chandanwari and if you wish to go there you need to hire Ponies (Horse) and for that you can easily bargain or you can hire local Union cab which will charge you 2500 to and fro becoz as per J&K Tourism norms our cab is not allowed to roam in locals.

03:- in Sonmarg the main attraction is Thajwas Glacier and in order to visit that u can either hire ponies or you can go by foot. The pony charges are not fixed and u can bargain to ur best.
